Hotel Churchill
Project Address: 801 C Street, San Diego CA
Scope of Work: Historical remodel/renovation of a single room occupancy hotel with 96 rooms. Due to the historical nature of this particular project type, NeMaco has worked directly with City of San Diego Center City Development and Historic Resource so as to obtain final building approval. The intent of this project is to replicate as closely as possible all the elements of the existing building.
Design and construction of ADA compliant rest rooms in main lobby design and construct new ADA compliant reception desk. Upgrade of existing electrical and communication systems, remove and replace all existing electrical wiring, install all new electrical fixtures, switches and outlets. Remove and replace existing sanitary plumbing waste system replace with cast iron, remove and replace potable water piping, replace with copper, remove and replace all plumbing fixtures, remove existing roof covering repair all damaged sheeting, re roof with torch applied system.
Remove and replace all exterior windows, modernization of existing elevator and associated equipment, remove and replace all carpet and padding, repair all damaged substrate as required, repair all damaged plaster, replace all damaged wood trim and moldings, repaint all rooms and corridors, sand blast exterior of building, re stucco/color coat.
